CITY OF BORDEAUX OVERVIEW

Bordeaux is the 9th largest city in France, spread on both side of the Garonne river in the Aquitaine region of the south-west of France. Bordeaux is famous worldwide for its 3000+ wine estates and its expensive wines such as Château Margaux, Mouton Rothschild, Cheval Blanc, Petrus.

Bordeaux won the title of European Best Destination in 2015 and was listed Word Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2017.

It is an increasingly popular destination among tourists visiting France, only 2 hours away from Paris by high speed train (TGV) with 33 round trips a day.
