If you are looking for a unique experience in the temples of Angkor away from the crowd, do not look further. Angkor Photography Tours has been running this "Hidden temples of Angkor" photo tours with e-bikes since 2015 on the less traveled roads inside the archeological park. We started doing e-bike tours with e-scooters then switched at one point to electric mountain bikes which are more expensive but much more flexible. Most of this tour will take place away from the crowd on jungle trails (about 60%) where tuk-tuk remorks and cars cannot do. Depending on your biking skills we will propose you different trail options. The ebike tour Hidden Angkor has been carefully designed to allow you to discover some of the most beautiful, less visited and historically significant temples inside the Angkor archaeological park which stretches over 400 km2. For 2 years, during the pandemic period, we improve this tour so much that in 2022, there is no other equivalent experience on the market. It is for sure an unmatched photographic experience. Besides temples, you will have also the opportunity to see some of the Cambodian countryside and if you are lucky, witness some everyday countryside life scenes like rice harvesting. Like during the other photo tours, besides actively exploring the temples of Angkor, the focus of Angkor Photography Tours is on teaching: how to get the best from your camera, know the best settings and shooting locations so that you can bring back home unique pictures from this “Hidden temples of Angkor” tour. During this full-day tour, we will cover between 40 km and 60 km, well under the distance which can be covered with a single full charge of the battery.

angkor cycling tour The Giant Talon E+ 29 is a pedal-assisted mountain bike powered by a Yamaha SyncDrive Core with 50Nm of torque and 400W of power. The SyncDrive Core motor technology will boost your ride up to 100 kilometers in a very natural way without spending much energy. The Giant Talon E+ 29 is a very good E-bike to go from point A to point B on most roads and this at up to 30 km/ average speed. The 100mm suspension fork will smooth most bumps on the roads and its 29-inch wheels made it very stable. From the small controller unit RideControl Ergo, situated on the handlebar, you can easily switch between different modes: Eco, Basic, Active, Sport & Power depending on how much assistance you need. "Fantastic All-Day Bike and Photo Tour"
(Andreas, Germany) January 2023

On January 22nd, 2023 I did a fantastic all-day bike and photo tour through the Archaeological Park of Angkor together with Laurent. The almost new eMTB from Giant was delivered to my hotel the night before so we could get started the next morning. Through Siem Reap we drove along the river on remote and quiet paths towards the temples of Angkor. On small trails we visited Angkor Thom and its gates, Ta Prohm, Bayon and a few lesser-known temples off the tourist track. Laurent showed me the best photo spots, some of which could only be reached on foot or by bike. He explained my camera in detail and how to get the best results. In total we drove about 60 kilometers, but there was still enough time for two coffee/coconut stops and an extensive lunch with great conversations. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know Angkor from a different perspective and bring great pictures home with them. Thank you Laurent for a fantastic day.

"Ride your e-bike between mystical temples through the jungle."
(Claudia and Patrick, Germany) November 2022

Wow! We had an unforgettable and beautiful tour on e-bikes with Laurant through the jungle and discovered so many secluded, enchanted and mystical temples away from any tourists. In these magical places, with Laurent's help, we tried many new things with our cameras and got to know them so much better. It was a very special day that we will never forget.Thank you.

"Amazing Photography Tour"
(Courtney, USA)

Went on the e-bikes temple tour with my husband while visiting Angkor Wat back in June, and absolutely LOVED this tour! Being on the e-bikes was a great way to get around and go to those off-the-beaten-path places that other tourists typically do not find. We were at temples where we were the only ones there! Laurent was not only very helpful and patient with me with my camera, he also was a great guide. He knew a lot of the history and gave great insight on the area. He helped me understand the basics of my new camera, and also helped me capture some amazing photos. I cannot recommend this tour enough! After visiting the temples, we rode through the countryside to see the "real" Cambodia and saw so many beautiful sights, and took in the sunset. It was a day we will never forget.

"Great Afternoon"
(Sean, Australia)

I did the E-bike tour with Laurent around the Angkor Archeological Park on the afternoon of the 20th of March 2017. We went to some out of the way temples where we were virtually the only people there. The E-bikes were comfortable and went really well. Laurent is a very interesting French guy and we got along really well. Our tour went quite a bit over time as raced to the perfect spot for an amazing sunset. Then we found a temple where an episode was being filmed for an Australian TV show. It was all lit up and looked amazing! The ride back to Siem Reap in the heavy traffic was awesome. The traffic moves slowly and I truly felt safe. The E-bikes is the perfect way to tour the park. Thanks So much for a great afternoon/evening Laurent.
